O’Riordan detained on Monday, November 10 on suspicion of assaulting a flight attendant on a plane flying from New York to Shannon Irish.
According to the police during interrogation in the department to Shannon O’Riordan complained of feeling unwell, after which she was sent to a hospital in Limerick. Later in the day she left the medical establishment, and was released from custody.
Details of the incident on board the plane were not disclosed. We only know that the incident occurred in a business class airline Aer Lingus aircraft shortly before it landed in Shannon.
