Akunin in London will talk about & quot; Angels & quot; popular in Russia and abroad writer Grigory Chkhartishvili, better known under the pseudonym Boris Akunin, is prepared to talk in London at the festival SLOVO with his colleagues on literary topics, as well as learn “how to help their angels and as they battle with their devils “.

On the last Saturday in a major European bookshop Waterstones on Piccadilly was the opening of the festival SLOVO, which is the only outside Russia annual festival of Russian literature. In 2015 SLOVO, conducted by British fund Academia Rossica together with Waterstones supported by Alexander Mamut, coincides with the London Book Week and the International Book Fair.

Svetlana Adjoubei, head of Academia Rossica, revealed that Russian literary festival, which extends beyond the borders of Russia, can create a variety of topics about the country itself, as well as its relations with other states. At this time in the festival, in addition Akunin, will take part such famous journalists as Sergei Parkhomenko and Leonid Parfenov.

From the very beginning of its activities, which happened in 2010, the festival presented in London prominent Russian writers of our time – Boris Akunin, Mikhail Shishkin, Dmitri Bykov, Ludmila Ulitskaya, Faith skid, Zahara Prilepina, Olga Sedakova, Vladimir Makanina and others.
