Belgorod, July 27, 2015, 23:10 – REGNUM In Rakityansky district (Belgorod region) second regional festival of Russian estate Culture “Yusupov Meeting 2015″ brought together more than 5500 participants. According to IA REGNUM in the press service of the regional government, a festive event opened theatrical staging of the board kind of Yusupov Rakityanskaya lands.
Prince Yusupov owned these territories from 1729 to 1917. During this time Rakityanskaya lands were sugar and brick factories, mechanical workshops, agricultural, enterprise and tanning sheepskin, cloth, lace and two carpet factories, wind and mechanical mills, forges, parochial school and a railway, a district hospital, homes Rakitnoe in the village and railway junction GEST, the palace complex with a park and three cascading ponds, Church of the Assumption and St. Nicholas Church in the village Rakitnoe. Through old Yusupov in those lands and the railroad built six railway stations. From the monuments of that time in the area of preserved historical monuments became the manor house and Yusupov Yusupov Park.
The participants and guests of the festival can enjoy the atmosphere of the XIX century – retro photo studio visit, literary salon, music room, master classes craftsmen and an exhibition and sale of their products, and open-air art exhibition of paintings, the exhibition retro samovar, look at the demonstration equestrian performances and meet the prince’s kitchen this past century.
