Rosobrnadzor: minimum exam scores for admission to universities will increase – REGNUM

->

Moscow, September 28, 2015, 13:23 – REGNUM – We have, until recently, almost all graduates of 11 classes received higher education. This led to the fact that today the quality of graduates and training system HVT raises questions on the part of employers, – said the head Sergei Kravtsov Rosobrnadzor in the past in the Russian new university international scientific and practical seminar “Development of higher education as a factor in overcoming the economic crisis.”

In its report, “Quality management in the Russian higher education: state and development prospects” the head of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science spoke about the policy department and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

“Yes, we had some problems with the objectivity of the exam, which led to a distortion of the results, and the fact that the system of HPE students not received the level of training, which claimed higher education. As a result, the universities had to deal with school problems, problems of socialization of students of the first and second courses. In general, the task we are now handled in a low last year, the minimum exam scores required to get a certificate (but not sufficient for admission to the university). This enabled students to receive a certificate and go to study in institutions of secondary vocational education.

Thus, we were able to cut those students who were not prepared for the study programs of higher education. For the first time since last year we changed the ratio of students who go to universities and institutions of secondary vocational education (HRE). Today it is 75% to 25%. We believe that this is not enough, and the ratio will change in the direction of open source software, because we are experiencing a shortage of skilled workers.

In the future, our policy will not change and will be aimed at increasing the minimum scores exam for admission to universities and support the development programs of secondary vocational education. At the same time we allow for admission to universities of students who graduate without ACT exam. Now this issue is being actively debated, as it turns out that the establishment ACT is a window of access to higher education college graduates who do not always have the academic knowledge necessary for the development of programs of higher education ».
