Rostov Airport will begin work on Monday morning – Vedomosti

«The cleaning has already begun”, – said Grebenshchikov. “The goal is to open the airport on Monday at 9.00 am Moscow time,” – he said.

Also, the deputy governor said that as a result of the crash damaged about 300 meters of the runway, the restoration of which would take about 12 hours. According to him, work on clearing the runway come at the expense of the airfield.

Also, Grebenshchikov said that the airport of Rostov-on-Don flew two airplanes technical flight. “From the airport of Rostov-on-Don already flown two aircraft engaged on a technical flight without passengers to a place of registration”, – the deputy governor said. “It is expected that before the end of the day the Rostov airport will leave four more aircraft,” – he added.
