As noted by the director of the Moscow City Library Center (MGBTS) Maria Rogachev , new periodicals appear in libraries from the II quarter of 2016. She explained that the analytical work on the most popular readers of publications was conducted. According to her, the basis was taken from a list of 500 names of urban libraries and 600 items from the central library system. As a result, MGBTS staff made the “Top 10″ most popular newspapers and magazines for children and adults. As a guideline, this list will be sent to all public libraries of the city. Also Rogachev said that it is planned to allocate additional financing limit, which will buy a much larger range of readers.
Recall, as reported by IA REGNUM, from 23 April to set a new timetable for the library capital system: the libraries that are within the third ring Road (TTC), will run from Tuesday to Saturday – from 10:00 to 22:00, Sunday – from 10:00 to 20:00, and those who are outside the TTC will operate from 12:00 to 22:00 from Tuesday to Saturday, Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00. Output for librarians will be on Monday.
