Died French writer Michel Butor – Lenta.ru

The French writer Michel Butor (Michel Butor), a representative of the direction of the “new novel” in French literature, has died at 89 years of age. He died in hospital the commune Contamines-sur-Avre, the newspaper Le Monde

Authorship Butor owns four novels:. “Milan travel” (1954), “Pastime” (1956), “Changes” (1957) and “degree of human relationship” (1960). He also wrote essays and wrote poems, released several collections of poetry.

Butor associated with the “new novel” (or “antiromanom”), as well as, for example, Marguerite Duras and Claude Simon, but after the book “The degree of human relationship” he has departed from this line

The writer was born in 1926 in the commune of Mons. -en-Baroeul. He studied philosophy at the Sorbonne and has taught abroad – in Egypt, Greece, the USA, Switzerland and the UK
