Georgian singer Mariam Mamadashvili won the children’s “Eurovision 2016″ – TASS

TBILISI, November 20. /Offset. TASS Tengiz Pachkoriya/. Ten Georgian singer Mariam Mamadashvili composition Mzeo (“Sun”) became the winner of the Malta Junior “Eurovision 2016″. Mamadashvili, scored 239 points, second place with 232 points, won the Duo Mary Vardanyan and Anahit Adamyan from Armenia in third place with 209 points Italian singer Fiamma Bocce. The first channel of Public television of Georgia led the live broadcast of the competition.

Samadashvili was born in Tbilisi, singing since the age of 4, she is a popular pupil of the Tbilisi music Studio “Bzikebi Studio” and music school named after Evgeny Mikeladze (piano class). Mariam – the winner of several contests in Georgia and a member of the TV show, a few years ago was chosen for the performance of the national anthem at the celebrations in honor of Independence Day. In 2014 she played the role of Princess in the play “Anna and I” Tbilisi “Theatre on atoneli”, 2015 Mariam lived in the United States, where the school of music Broadway Method Academy studied singing, dancing and acting.

At the beginning of October of current year in Tbilisi, she won the competition conducted by the Public TV of Georgia to identify the representative of a country to participate in the Junior Eurovision song contest. In recent months, Mariam was in Tbilisi and was preparing for the contest in Malta. Her song which brought her victory, Miriam wrote together with famous Georgian composer Giorgi kukhianidze.

it Should be noted that earlier Georgia was twice winner of the Junior Eurovision song contest: the first victory the country has brought the band “Bzikebi” (“Wasps”) in 2008 (the competition was held in Cyprus), then in 2011 the musical band “candy” with the song “candy music” won the contest in Armenia.
