We read Russian literature, I really like Russian language, the first play in which I participated, was “the Seagull”, and for me it is very important, because Chekhov is my favourite writer. I like the poetry of Anna Akhmatova and Alexander Blok. A year at University, we studied Dostoevsky”.

“underworld: blood War” – a fifth of the sprawling franchise about fighting vampires with Lycans (werewolves). Beckinsale plays the vampire Selene, who spoke against the Lycans and betrayed her clan of vampires. In the fifth part of each of the parties trying to get Selene and her daughter to use their blood to create the hybrid vampire-polyamorist, can turn the tide of the war. The actress admitted that she participated in writing the script.

“One of the main reasons why we decided to make the fifth part — we found a good Director, who also liked the idea of the film, this part. And my character. And we (by Director Anne foster – approx. ed.) decided to shoot it very emotional, where the image of Celine is deeper than in the previous films. Don’t know, would have conceived if the Director was a man. Anna is talented, confident, perceptive. And her ideas I like.”
